File an Extension
If you need to file an extension on your return then you will need to fill out form 933NT. This form must be filed by April 15th of the tax year. The extension will allow you an additional 3-6 months to file your return but will not extend the payment date. The payment will only be deferred and will still accrue interest on your taxes due.
